Our Spiritual Foundation @ Northside Christian Academy

At Northisde Christian Academy we understand that we must remain anchored to our spiritual foundations as we endeavor to instill a biblical and life view in our students.

We have been granted a spiritual legacy through our 50 year heritage, and we want to protect it from a secular drift that has erodes other Christian institutions. The underlying assumptions in our Statement of Faith are our reason for existence, and this faith fuels our passion to partner with christian parents to provide an excellent education consistent with biblical truth.

One of the many ways we are doing this is by providing more opportunities for the spiritual growth of our students by providing more service project opportunities in partnership with our church. We have also made a commitment to give our students the opportunity to grow in Jesus by putting their faith to action by sending them on mission-based trips and giving them the opportunity to impact their world for Christ.

This year out students will go on mission trips to the following locations...

  • Kenya - Build the Village - Partnering with Damon Davenport - July 5-14
  • Eutaw, Alabama  -Score International - John Zeller - July 16-21
  • Guatemala - World Reach Missions - Bobby Byrd, Jr. - September 9-14
  • Ontario, Canada - Camp of the Woods Ministries - John Cofield - July 13-22
  • Others
Northside will continue to challenge our students to put "feet to their faith" and take the Word of Jesus around the world. We must ensure that we remain true to our spiritual foundations as we move towards the next 50 years.

Northside & Project 1-2-1

Mobile devices are changing the way we work , learn and connect. You only need to take a quick look around to see how common mobile devices are in our society, and how much social networking has altered the way we interact with our world. The high school experience is no exception. Today's students expect mobility and interactive access to their teachers and academic materials 24-7, regardless of location.

At Northside Christian Academy we have risen to the challenge through the introduction of our new Technology Initiative - a program that provides all incoming freshmen with the latest iPad, a robust network infrastructure to support mobile connections, and curriculum specially designed to leverage mobile access and appeal to your desire for collaborative learning.

As a new freshmen to Northside Christian Academy you will receive your iPad during the first couple of weeks of school. Unlike many programs that just add the latest new mobile device to the same old way of teaching. NCA faculty will be specially redesigning courses from the ground up to incorporate mobile technology in a way that completely changes your high school experience.
